Johnny Godfrey is a guitarist playing blues with a difference, drawing from contemporary artists like Robben Ford, Joe Bonamassa & Josh Smith while blending the greats, BB King, Clapton & Stevie Ray Vaughan, delivered with distinct groove rhythms.

Johnny’s voice has been described as a combination of Tom Waits & Louis Armstrong, a vocal mix of rough, raw soul.

Recently moving to Brisbane after performing at many places around Australia over the past 25 years and playing local venues, so if you’d like to listen to a fresh style of Blues’n’Grooves, come and hear the sounds of Johnny Godfrey.
